Our client was launching a novel treatment with a unique mechanism of action into a mature market. With new generic options on the horizon, our client was focused on rapidly establishing the clinical and economic value of the new product. Cofactor’s therapeutic area and functional expertise enabled us to partner with the client to develop an optimized scientific engagement plan targeting academic and community physicians.
Cofactor conducted research on prescribers in the therapeutic area, which included volume of evidence generation & publication activity, to identify key influencers in the category. Our team then collaborated with the client to develop a multi-faceted Medical engagement plan. The plan included scientific content development, field medical training, and prioritization of a new CRM platform.
Research and planning efforts enabled the client to direct information and training resources to the most influential physicians and maximize the launch window opportunity. The project also resulted in development of a post-launch optimization process, which established processes for insight collection and further plan revision shortly after launch.
